| this is my first post so sorry if its off topic or in the wrong place
my problem is that ive got a sony cd player with Atrac 3. i can burn my atrac 3 disc's
but i would like to be able to listern to them not just on my cd player but also on my computer.
is there any way to make a atrac 3 cd work on my computer.
is there a codac out for this or a audio player?
any help on this subject would be great. | |

| At the moment there is no filter/codec to decode newer versions of ATRAC3 and also another problem is the files that are created for players using the ATRAC3 format need a splitter to output to a decoder.
Sorry if thats a little complicated, the base line is that Sony just don't want you to use the format on anything that they do not get some revenue from.
RealPlayer supports playback of ATRAC3 but nobody has ever confirmed whether it can read the actual discs. | |
