| i have promoted your site for years as i have not had really any problems at all you do great work and i will keep on passing on the good word and keep using
there how ever i just ran in too something on this newest version i just got done reformating my laptop and put on a fresh copy of winxp pro sp3 on too it and nothing else yet and wanted to watch an avi some worked and some did not work came up with sound no pic after installing your newest package i did some looking in to the settings and on default it did not have xvid enabled on the system and a bunch of others like divx and like i said i never had nothing installed and was not even on the net before this so i turned the stuff on for libavcodec so i was curious if anyone else has had this problem i always use windows media player as its quick and easy and has always done fine for everything this is more too let you know if it was maybe a bug or something in the install as i would always like to have it enabled for anything and everything possible for instant play back. thanx for your time and keep up the great work | |

Thanks Slickinator you're absolutely right, I should have new builds done later on with the problem fixed.
The defaults I normally set for DivX 7 haven't applied correctly for the new version. | |
