Subject: Installing Windows XP default Vcodecs ... ?

Hey folks ... i foolishly cleared my XP of all Codecs due to a problem i had. Well ... obviously need to reinstall them.

Actually i found a package with them and downloaded them ... and now i have some dll and 2 drv file in a zip-Folder ... BUT what shall i do to install them?

Any help is appreciated!

I would suggest re-installing DirectX and Windows Media Player instead.
They both contain the main filters and codec's used by Windows XP.
