OK. So I tried writing the ISO file to the disk using Nero. Came up with these error messages...

- burn process started
- PMA update failed
- Could not perform end of disk-at-once
- invalid write state
- Burn process failed

I am using a Sony brand DVD burner with Imation DVD-R's. Thank you for any feedback.

Hi, That is better info than the info given by DVDShrink.

I searched Google a little and came accross quite a few links like this http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=125958
Most point to media defects and nVidia chipset drivers (not graphics), but there are a few people who were not able to resolve their issue.

If the drive is less than 28 days old it might be an idea to send it back to the retailer for exchange with another brand, because otherwise you could run into problems again in future.
