| Is there anyway I can use this program to decode or play MKV kind of files? As you can see, I'm totally lost.

| Hi, Yes, both of the codec packs on the main site enable MKV playback.
Simply install one of the packs, then right click on the MKV file you wish to play and select "Open With/Windows Media Player" | |
