I need a program to split some mp4 files (maybe also mov) and must not be very complicated.

Any ideas?

So there is no single program that can do this?

I'm thinking I could recode those files into avi and then split them but...

I havent seen any easy applications out there to do it but there must be one somewhere, the other option I'd suggest is to use AVISynth decoding via DirectShow into VirtualDub, but the synch may fail or it simply may not work at all.
