Yet another update,
I've uploaded an updated test build.
VSFilter has been changed back to Gabest's 2.37 version.
ffdshow has been updated to 20070220 revision 944 by xxl (Generic non SSE build).

quick view

bugs fixed:
- regsrvr is not causing errors
- h264 in fullscreen fixed - no need to install Divix5 codec, H264 by libavcodec is enabled by default
- Haali config can be opened

bugs appeared:
- no support for MP4, it seemes that registry entries for Haali are broken again...
- vsfilter is crashing player when closing/overlaying video window. It seems that "Overlay On" setting is not enabled in the FFD by default.

Try to restore settings from 12.2.2007 and try to keep new fdd working. i shall test it little bit closer. some new minor errors appeared.

FFD performance:
i have here new LCD with DVI connector. Quality of image is very good, but i think that Gamma in new FFD is little bit high. Maybe just illusion, i shall take a closer look.

and some new information:
- MP4 works if "other mpeg" is enabled in FFD.
- FLV was disabled in both older and in newer FFD. If enabled older FFD was unable to decode FLV videos correctly (green stripe in center of screen). Newer FFD is able to decode them correctly.

(tested with getvideo from renamed from temporary internet files - youtube videos...)

I've uploaded another build.

I've changed the ffdshow defaults to allow mp4 and flv playback.
I've also fixed the defaults for output.

problem with Regsrv during uninstall. rest is good. some issues with certain media types when using VMR 9, caused by renderer.

so i also tried Haali renderer. First usable build. it can efectivelly supress side effects of compression, but at cost of image quality. image is too dark, colors are "burned" and it is causing choking sometimes...

good for viewing videos of extremely low quality, it can improve image, else it is useless..

under windows 98 with vobsub can freeze video aplication with current settings.
