| I have an avi file along with an srt file with the same name and I was wondering how to play these together using the codec pack. All I get is a blank screen, and nothing will play. If I remove the srt file though, the video plays fine. The last post did not offer much information. | |

| The only few reasons I can think of are that you:
Require .idx files to go with the .srt files.
Or uninstalled a previous version without rebooting before installing my pack. | |

| Some subtitle files require an idx file if the time line of the avi differs from that of the subtitle file or to use a different type of index, it's quite a rare problem though.
I'd suggest restarting your PC prior to the following:
Another option is to downgrade VSFilter to version 2.33, you can download the actual dll file from the link below, simply save it to "C:\Windows\system32"

| I basically fixed this problem by turning on the ffdshow subtitles. Without this, for some reason, the video will not play on the MP10. | |
