| I have some .mpg files like the one below. What do I need to play them correctly? No info from GSpot or GraphEdit.

| I just tried it in WinDVD which did open it, but the screen was blank and the audio was just like a few distorted clicks.
I've seen that happen before when someone tried to copy a file that had been burnt to disc as Mode 2 Form 2, but hadn't extracted the file from the disc properly.
It could also be a deliberate break.
Get in touch with the ripper if you can and get them to check it. | |

| Not much hope so far of AVC and AAC in mpg, looks like Elecard just wants people to try the player.

| I was browsing rarewares and found that Nic (XviD developer) has made a tool called AAC patch, it's for converting MPEG-2/AAC files to MPEG-4/AAC and vice versa, it may be just the thing to convert files like those.
I haven't had time to test it myself, it looks to be a command line util, so running it in a DOS box would be a good start.
