| I decided to produce a plugin pack for Nero users, There are already a few out there but most are quite out of date.
The release should be within 7 days at the maximum.

| The file is available for testing now and will be added to the main site soon, it requires Nero 5.5 or higher and will automatically find Nero's plugin directory.
It allows Nero to burn the following formats without conversion:
AAC/MP4
AC3 (2 Channel only, or front 2 channels of multiichannel files if the optional Wav replacement plugin is selected)
APE
ASF/WMA (Not digital rights management files)
FLAC
LPAC
Lame MP3
MPC
OGG
RM/RA
SHN
Speex
WavePack.

| Cole, I had a question regarding this nero pack. I'm day 1 newb regarding compression and what not, so bare with me here. I wanted to convert a DIVX avi documentary to VCD format so I can show some friends of mine on their dvd player. Now, nero is just about a one click deal which is great for newbies like me. I did a test burn and tried to play in my DVD player. Video was there but no audio.
After some research on the net regarding it, it seems you have to do quite a bit of work with uncompressing the auido and what not. I'm gonna try installing this pack of yours and see if it works, and if the audio will show up. Any help regarding this will greatly help. | |

| Hi JJJ,
The Nero Audio Plugin Pack is intended for Nero to accept the formats for audio CD and isn't intended for video use, you really need to use TMPGEnc which is featured in the Video Dub Pack, that will process both audio and video ready for VCD, but depending on the time length of your video file you may have difficulties.
