| Hello!
What about making an option in the installer: create install/uninstall log file? The log would include the installed codecs/filters and perhaps more stuff. It would be useful for "debugging" problems and to help users with problems.

| Hi maska, out of the box NSIS doesn't have the logging feature enabled but if I recompile NSIS itself then I can enable it, I will look into it some time (No space for VS right now). | |

| No, the logging feature was already there but not actually implimenteed unless you recompiled NSIS yourself, it looks like they've added a logging version already compiled though | |

| Test builds maybe but not finals, I have to protect a certain amount of the installer and I don't think that the logging will work for my uninstaller | |
