| Hi Everyone,
I'm very new to dvix movies and software, but I love it......
But my audio is Whacked out.......
Sound is good for 23 secs....then it begins to make sparking, poping noise and not in synch with lips of actors.....in movie....lol.
Looks like an old japanese Godzilla film where actors lips move 3 secs after the audio......haha.
Just like those bad dubbing jobs.....haha...
I have DivXPlayer 2.6 (since im on a 365mhz from 1998) - divx_audio_402.exe - divXaudiocompresser_4.02 - ac3filter_0_70b.exe - mpeg-2 - mpeg-3 - mpeg-4 - DivX EKG - Xvid stuff too - Xvid1.0.3-20122004.exe - etc, etc....;
I just tried getting anything that would help but, these don't work the lips in synch with the audio.
I'm on a windows 98 se OS - Microsoft Windows 98SE 4.10.2222 A

| Hi Pete,
Your problem is more than likely hardware related, the age of your system would give the impression that the hard disk and probably the drive controller cannot keep up with the data rate of DivX files etc.
It may appear to be fine with DVD's but the extra processing power needed for DivX etc. will really push the system.
You could try borrowing a more recent hard drive off a friend to see what effect that has, but I think ultimately it may be time for a faster PC or a home DVD player that supports DivX etc. | |

| Darn.....it figures......it can't be no easy fix.....I thought it was just a missing or conflicting codec.
Well at least now I know what the problem is now.....Time to come back to earth....lol.
Yea......I definitly want too and been needing to upgrade hardware.
