| I don't see why you're having problems, every file I test works fine.
The files you are having problems with cannot have been muxed correctly.
mkvinst_101a8.exe is obsolete.
FIR in ffdshow: There is a note from the developer saying that it may not be as functional as expected.
Info dialogue in ffdshow: The only time I don't see the dialogue information is when I enable S/PDIF out on AC3 and DTS (Only when playing files with AC3 or DTS audio).
S/PDIF bypasses any processing.
Are you sure you havent set this?
The Dolby decoder will only work if S/PDIF is not enabled and needs the mixer enabled with channel outputs set.
