| Firstly you need CDex and EAC (Exact Audio Copy) which are in the CD Rip pack on my site
What you need to do first is decompress the mp3's to wav using CDex:
Open CDex and select "Convert/Convert Compressed Audio file(s) to WAV file(s).
Select the folder where the files are located and highlight the ones you wish to convert.
Click convert, then the files will be decompressed (usually to a folder called "my music" in the root of CDex)
Next you need to open EAC.
Now select EAC/Compression Options.
At the top of the dialogue that appears select the tab labelled "Waveform".
Change the "Wave format" in the drop down list to "ATRAC3 Audio Codec".
Change the "Sample format" in the drop down list to "132kbps STEREO".
Click OK (Thats the compression setting now done).
Now you can start converting files in EAC by selecting "Tools/Compress WAVs"
Note: The files that are output will have the .wav extension, simply change them to .at3
Thats it.
Hope it helped. | |

| If the files work on your PSP please let me know, many people have asked me but nobody has ever been willing to try due to the complexity of the process. | |
