I been noticing that there are some formats that with the codec installed aren't able to play some videos or plays them but have no sounds to them? Here are some ex. I am using W7x64 Ult with WMP12 and using cole2k.media.-.codec.pack.v7.9.3.-advanced-.setup

[SHiN-gx] Fight Ippatsu! Juuden-chan!! - Special 6 [DVD][720x480 AR h.264 FLAC]

[UTW]_Angel_Beats!_-_01_[BD][h264-1080p_FLAC]

Will plays this but has no sounds? Is it cause of their formats that doesn't permit WMP to properly play the sounds with codec installed? These same files will play in VLC and have sounds. I like to just use one Media player WMP12 as the player but having no sounds from WMP makes it hard to watch the videos?

Hi,

Go to Start/All Programs/Cole2k Media - Codec Pack and click "ffdshow Audio", scroll down the codecs list to "FLAC", then in the box marked "disabled" select "libavcodec" from the drop down and click "OK" at the bottom of the dialogue.

I was able to hear audio for [SHiN-gx] Fight Ippatsu! Juuden-chan - Special 6 [DVD][720x480 AR h.264 FLAC][FINAL][BAF3E674].mkv after making the change.

Will that work for:
[Doki] Mayoi Neko Overrun! - 01 (1920x1080 h264 BD FLAC)
I will give that a try for this format as well. Oh yeah, it works wow wish I knew that before I try some more 1920 and Flac files and see how it goes....I will try to find some again and give those a shot as well...but thanks for telling me how to turn it on. Can't figure why I didn't try this...

It's a go that little change was all it takes and now my FLAC and 1980 files work what a lifesaver Thanks again for telling me how to turn it on.

I tried it on a older file but was able to hear some sounds but not the character voice speak?

[LuPerry]_dot_hack_GU_TRILOGY_1920x1080(x264_AC3)

What changes do I need to change to be able to hear the character voice?

Hi,

Go to Start/All Programs/Cole2k Media - Codec Pack and click "ffdshow Audio", scroll down the left hand list to "Mixer", tick the box and click "OK" at the bottom.

You should hear the character dialogue then.

I have another request? This is for Broken Blade...

[gg]_Break_Blade_-_2_(1080p)_[39A31FD8] and [Monokage]_Broken_Blade_-_02_[25D0859A] and [gg]_Break_Blade_-_2_(720p)_[29F77A68] as well. I did have the mixer and Flac set but the sound is still very muted I switch my audio to 2 speaker and still I can barely hear the audio? Is there another setting I need to make?

The files are badly encoded, but you can use the volume setting feature of ffdshow to improve the levels.
Change the setting to match the capture attached.

I figure as much that the encoding was badly done...but I will give your settings a try to see if I can hear better...
