| I am able to play all kinds of video formats on windows media player and watch streaming video on sites like msn or yahoo, but when it comes to playing streaming internet video in window media center under "online spotlight", I can only hear sound and video refuses to play. I've tryed downloading codec after codec and updated windows several times and still nothing. Could it be my video card? i have a nvidia geforce2 mx/mx 400 | |

| Hi,
Yes it's quite likely that your video card may not be compatible.
The minimum requirement for MCE is said to be a 64MB AGP card and compatible drivers, but many cards still don't fully function with it.
The lowest I've tested on MCE from nVidia has been an MX4000 64MB, but it lags quite a bit.
I would suggest you use something like an FX5200 or above.
