| Hi Cole.
I recently installed pinnacle studioplus 10 for video dvd editing. i was wondering if you'd heard about any issues with this and your codec pack?
why i'm asking is that i was using the divx 6 codec you had in the last pack (it had an odd name, not divx6 anyway) with riverpast video cleaner, to convert video from one codec to another, for use in my standalone divx dvd player (it won't play qpel and a few others). up until i loaded pinnacle, it was always in the list of video codecs within the menu for riverpast cleaner. after installing pinnacvle, it isn't yet divx5.2.1 is. any ideas?
i've uninstalled my old codec pack and loaded up your new 6.0.6 pack but it still doesn't show divx6 in the menu. | |

| Sounds like Pinnacle installed the old DivX 5.2.1 codec, you can only have one instance of DivX 5.1 or higher so it will have replaced 6.
If you uninstalled the codec pack and installed the newer one without restarting then the uninstaller deletes it when you next restart.
The easy solution is to restart your PC and install the codec pack again (overwrite it). | |
