| Am just curious if there is something i'm missing that maybe someone can help me with.
This codec pack is awesome, except when i try to import a dvd into Sony Vegas, i get no sound.
Installed Vegas again just to make sure, but seems it can't recognise audio.
I'm i just being thick or is there something i can do?

| If you're trying to import a normal DVD then it may be that Sony Vegas wont decode AC3 or DTS audio.
Many editing programs don't actually use codecs to decode files. | |

| understood.
But i have recently formatted and installed. Vegas worked before i formatted.
I think i may have found the problem. Seems i have a codec installed, "dolbydecoder". Any idea which program installs that? or how to remove it?
I have started removing all programs that have anything to do with dvd playing, authoring and ripping.
