I am trying to rip a few CDs to mp3 via WMP 10 on a Win XP MCE. I configured WMP to rip to mp3 at 192 kbps. I installed Cole's advanced pack 6.0.6 thinking that it would allow WMP to do this. However, I am getting the same error I was getting before installing the codec pack:

"Windows Media Player cannot rip the track because a compatible MP3 encoder is not installed on your computer. Install a compatible MP3 encoder or choose a different format to rip to (such as Windows Media Audio)."

Please help! Thanks!!!

Re-installing Windows Media Player is probably the easiest way to fix it.
