| Which codec pack do you have installed?
Is it just one file that is affected?
What file type is it?
What operating system do you use?

| Ok, look in the program group "Cole2k Media - Codec Pack" and select "GSpot Codec Information", next click "File" at the top, followed by "Open" and open the file you're having trouble with, you should then see some information about the file such as the Video and Audio codecs used to encode it.
If GSpot can't identify the file then the file is fake or corrupt, if it does identify the file please post the information about what Video and Audio codecs the file was encoded with.

| I've just remembered that another forum user had a similar problem to this with the test build after not uninstalling a previous version of the pack, I'd advise restarting your PC and re-installing the pack if you have done the same, or if you have uninstalled a previous version and not restarted your PC before installing this one. | |
