| Ive got version 6.00 of cole2k on win2k
got no problems with avi files or mp3. But when it comes to mkv, ogg, ogm sound ! it totaly goes hystericall.
The Sound amplyfies/turns it selfs up above max, and I cant turn it down using software volume !
Cant help but wonder if its an driver fault and maby not codec problem ?
allso using classic media player, dosnt help with other players eather.

| Try going to "Cole2k Media - Codec Pack" in your start menu and select "ffdshow Audio", you should see a codec list in the right hand pane, select "Vorbis" in the format column and change the decoder option to "libavcodec".
If that doesn't help change "libavcodec" to "tremor". | |
