Location: UK | Hi there,
I have a set of .ogm files with accompanying .ssa subtitle files. They both have the same file names (File1.ogm / File1.ssa). The video plays fine with English or Japanese audio but there are no options to enable subtitles. DivX settings manager and Haali Media splitter appear in system tray.
Im using Windows Vista 32bit Home Premium SP1.
I have fiddled with all the settings in Haali media splitter configuration (VSfilter is set to autoload)and ffdshow settings but nothing seems to work. This is the first time ive had any real problems with playing a set of files.
Can someone help with this please?

| Hi,
Many older OGM files (Version 0.9) with external subtitles don't play correctly with the modern OGM splitters available or subtitle readers.
There is a way around the problem though:
You can use BSPlayer or Media Player Classic which will often look for subtitle files and load them automatically, also both players have the ability to specify a subtitle file location from the menu within the player.
